Holidays in a Caribbean Paradise

Caribbean Holiday - Yes Please

With 7000 islands, islets and reefs in the Caribbean, to choose from, divided into 25 territories there is certainly variety and choice. Most people would think of the miles of fine white sandy beaches, palm trees and cocktails at every turn when their mind turns to a Caribbean Holiday, and rightly so.

The beaches are amongst the finest in the world and the sea is a fabulous aqua blue, as for the cocktails well..........

Music plays a huge part in the culture of the islands and is everywhere you go. The variety of sounds will interest and enthrall you as you relax in one of the worlds special places. Reggae, Salsa or Calypso can be heard everywhere you go, giving the place a special upbeat form of relaxation.

If It's an upmarket hotel that you are looking for, it's the perfect holiday for those who want nothing more than to unwind in paradise where as those who look for something more lively will find everything they need right there, water sports and in particular sailing around the islands and snorkeling are very popular and not to be missed by the more active visitor.

The Dominican Republic is great for entertainment, in fact it seems it was made for it, with a choice of traditional West Indian nights or more modern "clubbing", those who like the small hours will love it. For a more authentic, traditional West Indies holiday why not look in on Nevis or any of the other Islands in the Grenadines. St. Barts simply oozes with style and sophistication. Classic French colonial villas or 5* hotels are there for you to choose.

The Caribbean has everything you might need for the holiday of a life time, sun, sea, sand and dancing till dawn all right alongside your very own secluded little spot. It's all there just waiting for you to happen by.

Is this the best holiday spot in the world, what do you think?

I went to the Dominican Republic for my Honeymoon and would highly recommend it. We stayed on Bavaro beach at the Bahia Principe hotel. With 15 restaurants and 3 different pools there was plenty of choice. The food, service and people were fantastic.
